For the medical professionals working in a patient’s home, their role is to help their patient’s function safely at home. Oftentimes, a home setting can be better for patient’s because they can be much more comfortable in their own homes. This can be because they are allowed in their own surroundings with their own possessions, they can have visitors at any time, and can make their own food choices. 

These benefits and conveniences are causing the home healthcare profession to expand; this means that the opportunities for nurses or medical professionals who are looking for a new field to work in.
